In an industry dominated by hard hats and drone footage, John Holland focuses on what happens at the human level.
Working closely with the design and strategy teams at Frost* Collective, we developed a verbal identity that puts human stories at the heart of the brand, zooming in on the real human benefits John Holland’s projects have.
While true to its heritage, the new John Holland brand zooms in on the lives on everyday people to demonstrate the transformative difference the business makes to communities.
We devised and defined the core brand voice principles, and applied them to create simple guidelines for their use. We also tried them out for ourselves, writing the new brand book and capability documents for key parts of the business, including rail, dams and irrigation solutions.
